It’s in a good location and the service is fair for the affordable price. My concern is that the room door lock doesn’t look secure.

The building looks beautiful and could attract clients, but the staff need better training. At 1 a.m., I heard a very loud, long phone call on the second floor right in front of my room. It was a slim black Hausa woman with a nose ring. I had to step out and caution her. This is supposed to be a hotel, not a residential apartment where someone makes a noisy call in the middle of the night. Is that her own style? VERY LOUSY STAFF.

The rooms and meals are overpriced, and nothing felt worth what I paid. You won’t get your money’s worth. The worst part was the smell. Guests shouldn’t leave home only to find smelly sheets, pillows and duvet, plus a room that reeks of old, rotten food left by previous guests in the corners of cupboards and drawers. Neatness and tidiness should come first in a hotel. Most staff seemed untrained and were rude and uncouth. A few others were pleasant and willing to work. This place shouldn’t receive a rating.

For a budget hotel in town, it’s nice enough, just an okay place with basic amenities. I even forgot to take pictures, maybe because there wasn’t much that made me want to. The rooms and sheets were clean, and the staff we met were polite and helpful. Towels are available if you call the front desk. I didn’t check the meeting halls, and we didn’t order food. One thing they need to sort out is the plumbing.
