Grand Cubana Hotel in Jabi has an active, social atmosphere, which adds to the experience if you enjoy that kind of scene. It feels comfortable for business or relaxing, with free Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, a pool, and well-arranged suites offering decent comfort. The location is convenient and easy to reach in a central part of Abuja. Security at the entrance looks organized, and check-in is usually smooth and professional. It’s a good option for a short visit, business trip, meeting or some personal downtime, and the mix of location, services and facilities may make people want to return.

Getting around is easy from this location, and taxis, Bolt or other transport are easy to find. But the pool wasn’t clean, the rooms felt a little old, and I could see mould in the bathroom. This may depend on the room I booked, which was standard, and the higher categories might have better service and atmosphere. I had to choose between a large room with faulty AC and a small one with AC that was only slightly better. There are other room packages, but the place needs deep cleaning and serious maintenance. The room was expensive, and there was no complimentary breakfast. Please do better.

A complete waste of my money. The chicken was stale, the sheets were dirty, and there weren’t even towels in the bathroom. The intercom didn’t work, the AC barely blew harder than a fan, and loud music from the outdoor lounge made it hard to relax. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The customer service was excellent, though some of the rooms need renovation and remodelling.

The food costs far too much for this kind of hotel, and the stay wasn’t worth the money. The rooms were dirty and tiny, the AC didn’t work, and the toilet setup was poor. Music from the bar was disruptive. It was my first visit and definitely my last.
