The staff are lovely, and the surroundings are great, with plenty of things nearby. The rooms could use some improvement, though. During my stay, the internet was poor, so the room TV didn’t work.

The rooms are good for what they cost. Finding the place was tricky, since there’s no sign outside.

There’s a pool and a bar, and the place is quite decent. The food wasn’t that good, but there are lots of nearby restaurants you can order from.

What stood out for me was how the staff treated me. They were so good at making customers feel welcome that I found myself giving them money before I even realized it. The management has clearly got that part right. J's place isn’t fancy, but the atmosphere and location are lovely, and it’s good value. If you’re in town and want to enjoy your stay without spending too much, I was really impressed with this place.

There was no porter, and the location shown on the map is wrong.
