Kashco Apartment Wuse II

The car detailing was topnotch, and they use Lamborghini steam machines. I honestly enjoyed my stay too. The surroundings and decor are beautiful, the rooms are clean with nice beds, the staff are professional, and the food is good. Such a lovely place. See you when I come back to Abuja 💯💯👍

The airport ride was the last straw. Despite the fare we were charged, the car had no air conditioning and was hot all the way there. Then we were asked for an airport tax without warning. Shouldn't that be part of the taxi fee? We also had trouble paying at checkout. The international PoS was supposedly out of service for 2/3days, even though we asked daily for it to be ready. We ended up scrambling for cash on checkout day. Not every guest carries cash or has a Nigerian bank account, so this needs to be prepared for, perhaps with a couple of working machines. There were some good parts of our 6night stay at Kashco Apartments. The location was central and suited the places we needed to reach. The staff were generally good, smiling and often going above and beyond, though a few could use more customer service support. Comfort was good: both apartments had working ACs, daily cleaning and freshening, and 24hrs electricity. I understand businesses in Nigeria may need to generate their own power 70-80% of the time. We did find the apartments were missing cutleries. The bigger issue was how rigid they were about small guest requests. We asked to switch to a room like the one shown on booking.com and were told to cancel our booking.com reservation. It seemed like something that could have been handled simply. Trying to save 10k could mean losing hundreds of thousands of naira in business. This place could be a 4/5star stay if those fixable annoyances got more attention. Would I come back? Maybe. For now, three stars.

Kashco really surprised me. The onsite restaurant was where we ate most of the time, and my fiancée had a great massage at the spa. They seem to have thought of everything: a Bose sound system, lovely decor, lots of TV options, transport to and from the apartment, and a breakfast that was wow. The food, service, and amenities were all so good. Kashco is strictly class for the classy. Stay and enjoy.

I slept soundly in this neat, modern, peaceful place. The only downside was how short the checkout time is 😥.
