Koraf Hotel

We stayed there for about two weeks. One plus is that mobile network works, the staff are friendly, and the view from the mountain is beautiful. You can see monkeys in the trees, and the surrounding nature is lovely. The rooms we saw were badly worn, with lots of insects. One morning there was a huge cockroach in bed by the pillow. We were in the upper section, and getting up and down is either for athletic people or feels like hell. There’s a big supermarket nearby, but the climb back makes it unpleasant to go there. Taxis are the only option, since bikes and Kekes aren’t allowed. The bedding was so scattered and cut up that you’d hope the next day it might somehow be clean. Many things in the room were broken. Food from the cafe also comes with an extra charge for delivery to the room, because nobody wants to make the climb for free. During the first week we waited for the pool to be cleaned, but it never happened, so there was no pool. Then the lights went out. They gave us a power schedule, 6 a.m. to noon and 6 p.m. to midnight, leaving nights without air conditioning. I had to work until 2 or 3 in the afternoon, which was difficult, and could only rely on mobile internet. Without AC in the room it was impossible. We left because of all this. The refund took 24 hours, and there was no discount. Just a huge disappointment.
