Communication was poor, and the apartment was dirty, with cockroaches inside. I stayed over a weekend, and the mattress was as hard as a rock.

It was fair. The Wi-Fi wasn’t strong, the shower was faulty, and there were no bedroom slippers.

4/10
The breakfast wasn’t bad, and they do try to keep the place maintained to some extent. Still, it’s a very old hotel with old furniture. The air conditioner was old and so noisy that I couldn’t keep it on. I stayed for a residential weekend programme.

6/10
The rooms are quiet, spacious and neat, the room service is tidy, and the food is good. There’s a clean gym and a nice pool. The location isn’t great, though there are several stores and local eateries nearby, and cabs are always available. Electricity cuts are frequent and the backup generator has issues. Wi-Fi is very slow too. Still, it’s a good budget option.

4/10
The suites have a welcoming feel and lovely design ideas, but they seem worn and need improvement. The bathroom tap didn’t work properly. The complimentary breakfast should be more than a meager loaf and a sorry-looking egg. The rooms are affordable, so they may suit guests on a low budget who aren’t particular about the food or bathroom condition.
