I regretted booking room 126 at PENINSULA hotel. They rely on solar inverters, but the air conditioning only works with NEPA or the generator. They claim the generator starts by 6:30/7:00pm, but that wasn’t true.

Liberty has been renovated beautifully, with nicer rooms and a facelift for the whole place. I usually spend my time by the poolside bar, though sometimes the DJ plays the music so loud you have to shout to talk to the person beside you. The pool was drained on my last two visits, and I don’t know why. It’d also be nice if they gave everyone seated at a table a laminated menu for drinks, food, and chewables.

Peninsula Suites Bwari has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and the service was great. It’s conveniently located right opposite the police station in Bwari. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

I went to ask about rooms and was told the cheapest is 20k a night. Yikes, that’s over my budget, so I’ll try the next hotel. The security staff and receptionists were helpful and seemed like genuinely good people. The compound is quiet, with plenty of parking, and the building looks nice too.
