A quiet spot to relax while you’re in area 7.

The building is in the middle of town and has plenty of parking. It used to be a private residence before being turned into a hotel. Outside, the place is clean. The rooms are a different story: they’re overpriced, unclean, and barely sanitary. The bathrooms are poor and not worth what they charge per night. I wouldn’t spend my money here.

The room itself was okay, but the doors let noise through, so loud neighbors can be a problem. There were mosquitoes, and I had to remind them to replace my towel. Nothing came with the room: no breakfast, tea, coffee, Wi-Fi, lotion, or bottled water. There’s no gym or pool either. For N13,000 to N15,000 a night, Hotel Constantial Benin city has been my best experience.

The hotel sits in a busy area, but there’s plenty of space inside the compound. The reception is small and neat, and the staff are friendly enough. Room size was adequate, but the toilet was dirty and the quality was terrible.
