We checked three guests into Westpoint Hotel in March 2025, but the room conditions were unacceptable. Cleaning was poor, and fungus was visible around the beds. Our guests couldn’t stay for all the days we’d paid for because of the hygiene concerns, and they couldn’t comfortably use things like breakfast either. We formally asked for a refund for the unused days. Almost a year later, after several follow-ups and written requests, it still hasn’t been paid. At one point we were told there were internal financial issues, but that doesn’t justify keeping a customer’s refund for so long. I’m extremely disappointed. I hope management takes this seriously and resolves it promptly.

It was an average experience. The hotel is getting some minor repainting and the elevator is being repaired. I wanted my complimentary item served in the room or by the pool, but they insisted it had to be at the restaurant.

What an unpleasant stay. I got stuck in the elevator for over an hour, and management told us to stay calm and pray while they started the generator. They had no diesel, so getting some took them a long time. Some of the people trapped with me had international flights and could have missed them. When we finally got out, dizzy and lightheaded, nobody from management apologized. I was told the same elevator had trapped customers for over two hours some weeks earlier, and nothing had been done. The rooms are stuffy, the sheets were dirty, and there was a very loud, ridiculous church band in the basement. I’d never stay here again. This was the worst experience, and I’d give no stars if I could. Anyone posting an encouraging review either works on their marketing team or was lucky with their stay.

There really isn’t enough parking, especially for events, and most of it seemed taken up by the hotel’s own vehicles, perhaps for hire or transport. I hadn’t even known there was a hotel at this location. The building is fairly large, but the interior disappointed me: it wasn’t well maintained, and the decor didn’t come together. I turned around as soon as I stepped in to see a room, so I don’t know the rates. I’d expect them to be cheap, but even at a low price I wouldn’t choose this place. 😒
