Rendezvous Hotel

I paid a low price, so I suppose I got what I was looking for, but it was still a terrible stay. The blanket smelled so bad my wife had to use her inhaler through the night. We checked out as soon as morning came. The towel was like a washed rag, and I couldn’t use it.

New Rendezvous was so unpleasant that I couldn’t bring myself to order food there. The rooms smelled, insects were everywhere, and the customer service was very poor. Staff even changed the TV channel despite what the customer wanted, and it took the manager getting involved to resolve it. If you have other options, take them. This place isn’t comfortable.

The building is old and run-down, and the rooms have very little ventilation. Service is below par, there’s no generator or hot water, and some rooms don’t have AC. It’s an absolutely awful environment. Anyone giving this place more than one star doesn’t know what they’re doing.

New rendezvous hotels is at Makeni street Cotonou crescent. Rooms start from 5k, and the place seems aimed at average earners. There’s no WiFi, though it has a bar and restaurant and offers laundry service. The service is limited, but the hotel isn’t all that bad.
