When I visited in August 2025, the place looked abandoned.

The spacious rooms and pleasant atmosphere make this a nice weekend getaway, and the rates are affordable. Roses Hotel is in Durumi district, not far from the first government Secretariat built in Abuja. It's a good option if you're shy and reserved. The parking lot is very wide and accessible, and there's a police station within 1000 meters, so it feels very secure. Staff are well trained, and the pool out back is well maintained.

The meals and accommodation are budget-friendly. There’s also plenty of outdoor entertainment, with a poolside and rooftop bar. Roses hotel is tucked away in Durumi, Area 1, Abuja.

Nice pool, and the side bar is really good. It’s a cool spot.

After we found faults in our first room, we had to switch to another one. It was okay overall, though I think there’s room for improvement.
