Summit Villas Suites & Apartment

I had to find somewhere else to stay that same night. I’d just arrived in Abuja, didn’t know the area, and the hotel wouldn’t refund me despite the conditions, so it was a stressful scramble. The pool was completely dry and looked abandoned. The walkways were dirty, the buildings seemed neglected, and the place didn’t feel safe to me because there appeared to be little proper security. In one room assigned to my colleague, water was running right in front of the entrance, and the area smelled terrible. There was a strong, unpleasant odor in much of the hotel, and the facilities were poorly kept. The online photos gave a very misleading impression of most of the rooms. Only about two seemed to match them. Most were old, dilapidated, and badly maintained. This was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve had in Abuja. I’d advise people considering a stay to avoid it until major renovations and proper maintenance are done. The photos and recent reviews didn’t reflect what I encountered.
