The bathroom felt so badly finished that I was worried it might come loose while I was using it. The AC barely cooled, and the water pressure was weak, sometimes disappearing altogether. Power also went off while they went to get diesel, and the manager asked me whether I knew how much diesel cost, which really wasn’t my concern. There wasn’t even a socket beside the bed.

There was no water and nowhere to charge my phone near the bed. I came during hot weather, but they wouldn’t switch on the generator. It turned into the worst stay I’ve ever had, just a really bad experience.

The staff were good, and the stay wasn’t too bad. What bothered me was having to keep asking for water to be pumped up, even though I’d booked an above standard room package. The water came very slowly, and the hot water system was awful.

I had a great stay in the apartment, and the rooms were really clean. The location made it hard to get a Bolt pickup, though. The bar had all sorts of fun games.

I come back here whenever work brings me to Abuja. It’s peaceful, and I really like the classy bar downstairs. The interior looks even better in person than in the photos. Credit to the management.
