Bon Hotel Royal Parklane

I was in Akure for a wedding and stayed three nights. The area felt safe and quiet, and the rooms were clean. Staff were generally friendly, though one room service worker kept asking for money. Tips should be up to the guest. There were good things about the stay, but several basics need attention: the internet was poor, water ran out three times, and the towels and curtains were old. The curtains also didn’t fit properly. In the bathroom, the walls and toilet blinds need a refresh, and a shower cubicle would stop the toilet tissue getting soaked while you shower. The WC in room 210 was worn and stained, though I can’t speak for the other rooms. Maybe they need a water pumping schedule. Overall, a decent stay.

I was at the hotel for an event. The space was lovely, with a great atmosphere, and the facilities were clean and well looked after.

It’s a neat, welcoming hotel in a quiet part of Ijapo estate in Akure. The rooms are okay, and the service was decent. A good place to stay when you’re travelling.

I spent a lovely week here, and Mr Bajowa, the Manager, was a wonderful host. I’m looking forward to coming back.
