De Santos Hotel Awka

A calm, comfortable place with service that's really good. I'd be happy to stay here.

The entrance road is easy to access, and you get a lot for what you pay. The rooms are large, clean, and tidy, the power is steady, and there are bars both indoors and outside by the pool. You can dine inside too, with different dishes depending on what's on the menu. There's also a small pool that flushes itself at regular intervals. I keep saying I like this place, because I do. Just be aware it's expensive for people on a low income. The services are quite good.

The room still hadn't cooled down by nearly 11 pm, even though I checked in around 8. The AC is so far from the bed that it wasn't getting the room cool within three hours. They really need to rethink that setup. The food, rooms, and hospitality were good, though.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the workers have all been friendly. We booked two rooms for my family and have been here since yesterday. I asked a few times for a cartoon or children's channel for my kids, but was told they were working on it. We also had a water issue, which they later fixed. Breakfast was the worst I've had at a hotel of this standard. The options were only spaghetti, fried egg, beans, and custard. The hotel can do better.
