Duoban Hotel & Suite

We found it calm and safe, a nice place to stay for a few nights. The pool was crystal clear, and I loved relaxing at the pool bar and taking a swim. It's also handy for the airport and shopping, and the bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. I'd definitely come back.

It has an amazing location, and I imagine it was very good when it first opened. These days it isn't being maintained properly and needs serious work.

The staff were courteous, and I liked the location by the airport. Food from the restaurant was nice, though very expensive. Inside, though, the place needs attention: the air conditioner in my room was very noisy, and the old furniture felt rickety. Some renovation is underway. Once that's finished, the furniture is replaced, and the lighting is improved throughout, the standard might come up a bit. The exterior is beautiful, but the inside is poorly maintained.

The staff were great, always smiling and ready to help, and I got a preferred room for less. But the last two days were awful. They served very old soup from the restaurant, and the laundry left iron burns on my clothes. Then I woke up sweating in the middle of the night because the power had gone out. The number was switched off, and I was afraid to leave my room in the pitch dark. I couldn't sleep. Worst hotel experience ever.
