I’m writing this from my room at Hotel los Reyes, and I can’t sleep because of bedbugs. I have a baby with me, my body is swollen from the bites, and I feel awful about it. I’m even worried the bugs might come home with us. How can I pay so much and be treated this way? I’m deeply disappointed, and nobody deserves this. The room was dirty and smelled bad from the start. The sheets were heavily stained with who knows what, but I told myself I only had one night and would manage. The bedbugs were the last straw. How does a hotel have bedbugs in 2024?

The rooms looked good, but the service didn’t meet the standard you’d expect for this kind of hotel. For all four days, breakfast was just two slices of bread and tea, with no other choices. That really wasn’t appropriate for the length of my stay, and I found it terrible.

The rate is very reasonable, the hotel is clean, and the WiFi works well. It’s in a quiet neighborhood just off Airport Road and very close to the airport. I slept well, and room service was good. The generator comes on right away when the grid power goes out. A few things need attention: the shower leaked, and the TV reception was unclear on many channels. They could also offer more viewing options.

The parking area is small because the hotel sits on a small plot, though management has done a lot with the available space. It’s easy to find, just opposite Air Force Primary School, and the customer service was good. Inside, it’s absolutely beautiful. I liked the intimate feel of the bar area, and I kept going up and down the stairs to look at the wall art. My favorite is the three-faced one on the first floor. Please like my review 🙂👉🏾👈🏾.
