This was a disaster from beginning to end. I booked with the option to extend, and manager Bright told me another room was available. Then they refused to honor that and told me to check out at the last minute, with no communication. This hotel showed no basic hospitality or respect for guests. There were mosquitoes all over the property, and the hallway constantly smelled of weed. Other reviews describe terrible service and rude management, so it seems this is how they do business. I travel frequently and have never had a hotel complain about me having multiple pieces of luggage. They seem used to local guests and have no idea how to handle travelers coming from out of state or from far away. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

For the price, the interior is really nice, even with a bit of construction going on. They should get a bigger water heater, though.

The staff were pleasant and polite, but management needs to deal with the insect problem. The room looked clean and cared for when I first saw it, so finding bugs was an unwelcome surprise.

The chef deserves an Oscar or a Grammy, lol. I stayed for about four days and got a generous discount. The service was fast and top notch, and the staff were warm and friendly. My room looked exquisite, with lovely aesthetics and attention to detail. The hotel sits in a quiet, peaceful area and is easy to find. They ticked almost every box for me, so I'll definitely come back and would highly recommend it.

It's a good hotel, but they should think about opening the door between the rooms and pool. If you're by the pool and it starts raining, how are you supposed to get back to your room? Also, if the restaurant makes you pay before eating or drinking, nobody's going to leave with your money.
