The pool area is elegant and beautiful, with a serene, peaceful feel, but its facilities need maintenance. The pool itself is large, and swimming there is usually fun because you meet other swimmers, some strong and some less so.

The pool bar, outdoor pool, and indoor bar are nice features, and the reception staff were welcoming. The reception area also displays different time zones for international guests who might need to make calls abroad from the hotel. Getting to the hotel isn’t easy, though, and the area doesn’t feel very safe late at night.

The staff are nice, and the rates are friendly. Just outside busy Calabar, this is a good option if quiet, nature, luxury, comfort, and relaxation are what you’re looking for.

It’s a cool place, but the poolside needs a proper clean-up or an upgrade. The music there is far too loud, and the sound quality is poor.

Princeville hotel is close to where I live. It’s a very nice place, with impressive facilities and plenty of parking.
