I paid 30k, and it was awful. I checked in at 4pm and kept going to the desk for a towel until after 11pm, but they never found one. The ACs in the Gr rooms were switched on but didn’t cool, so I changed rooms and had the same problem. There were cockroaches, too. The outdated toilet didn’t flush properly and the water wasn’t clear. There was no shower head, just an old bathtub and a bucket, so you’d have to scoop water to bathe. I didn’t bathe because there was no towel. The staff seemed not to care, and the hallways smelled of weed and cigarettes. Everything in the building felt outdated. Even the Wi-Fi was only good for replying to WhatsApp messages. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. The Uyo branch is way better, and I came here because I already knew that one. Chai, I felt so bad. Worst hotel experience ever. Jesus Christ!

They wouldn’t let us use a camera at first, saying it broke their rules. They also stopped us from having musical and dance performances, even though I’d already agreed things with one of their supervisors and their DJ. The interruptions carried on until the DJ left, and they wrecked our plans for the birthday party. Guests were still arriving when staff ended everything, saying we hadn’t discussed it with them. My female guests were told they could swim in the dirty pool only if they bought swimming trunks. Workers and bouncers kept interrupting to ask for food and drinks, which embarrassed me and my guests. I’d paid for a room the day before the event, but they said we had to check out at 7 instead of 12. I had the worst experience and would never use De Angelo again. Avoid DE ANGELO. This is the worst place to hold an event, and I wish I could give this rubbish hotel zero stars.

The food and drinks cost a lot, but the atmosphere and music are enjoyable. The pool is large and always clean, and there are plenty of workers available to help. There are also two clean football pitches, so you can play soccer here at night too.
