The rooms are clean and comfortable enough, though they’re not luxurious, and the toilet area feels cramped. Rates start at 14k, which seems high to me for the room size and location. I’d expect around 10k, especially compared with some good hotels along Abakaliki Road in Emene.
It’s been kept really neat over the years, and there’s a gym with sessions in the morning and evening, plus a restaurant and bar where you can play snooker. The place sits in a quiet area with no nightlife, next to a Catholic Church. The grounds are small, so parking is limited. Rooms are small but comfortable, and the bathrooms are small too. I’d like them to control smoking in the rooms. Marijuana is prohibited, but cigarettes should be smoked outside the compound. The smoke makes it hard to breathe in there.
The location is lovely and the place is affordable and decent. It could use a few touch-ups, and customer service needs to improve.
This spot is known for its gym and games room, and it’s open all day and night. The gym has sessions Monday through Saturday, from 6 am to 9:30 am and again from 4:30 pm to 8 pm. It’s beside a popular church in a quiet part of Transekulu, with no nightlife nearby.
It’s my third night here, and I still get a kick out of that worn-down snooker table. The other people playing are fun, though the staff, especially the porters, could do better. The rooms are small but clean and well kept. If you want somewhere quiet, clean, out of the way, and fun, it’s okay for the price.
