It’s quiet and peaceful, and there are two buildings in the compound. I preferred the first one you see after coming through the gate because its rooms are more "tushed up". I had a frustrating moment with the shower, though, as the hot and cold settings kept switching around 😂. Hopefully that isn’t an issue in every room.

I really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the place was. The experience was lovely, and there was power for about 23 hours a day, which was nice. ✨

LavidaSuites Hotel has 24 rooms spread across three blocks, and advertises uninterrupted power around the clock. The hotel sits on rocky ground about a five-minute walk from Enugu state Government house, with transport access to Enugu airport and the International Conference Centre. Rooms include a phone, cable television, air conditioning, a hair dryer, radio, and private bathroom. The restaurant and bar stay open all day for drinks and meals. It draws a range of guests looking for service in a central, accessible location. Lavida Suites describes its atmosphere as distinct from anywhere else in Nigeria and uses the motto "Tradition on the move". Its stated aim is to give valued customers world-class hospitality.

It’s a quiet, decent mid-grade hotel, suitable if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. I really liked the meals. For entertainment or something more fancy, I’d look elsewhere.

This works if all you need is a night’s stop before moving on. The reception insisted they provide service 24 hours a day, but the lights went off around 8 am.
