The Andover Hotel

The food was satisfactory, and the hotel's facilities were enough for me, even though my business schedule left little time to explore nearby. I felt secure there, with measures like key-card access to the elevator, and the courteous staff made the stay enjoyable. My room was spacious and spotless, and I liked that every room has a terrace. The colorful artwork added to the excellent ambience. The pool was clean and nice, the gym was spot on, and power stayed on throughout. The 5G-enabled Wi-Fi was super fast. For what I paid, The Andover Hotel Enugu was worth it. I hope they keep these standards up, or raise them. Highly recommended.

During five nights at Andover hotel in December 2025, I found the service great, the rooms spacious and beautiful, and the grounds clean. Its location at Indepence Lay out is handy for the Airport, and the gym equipment works. I've stayed in five-star hotels in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu, and this was the best of them for me. One thing let me down: the restroom sink has a faucet marked hot, but no hot water is connected. I called the Lobby to check. If, like me, you shave with warm water to rinse your razor, you'll have to do without it here.

I found the location fairly easy to reach, though getting around town could be a little more convenient. The rest of my stay at The Andover Hotel in Enugu exceeded expectations. My room was clean, comfortable and well arranged, with a modern feel, and the staff were polite, attentive and ready to help. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to people visiting Enugu.

The grounds have small trees and plenty of parking, and the hotel has both an elevator and stairs. Tea packets were provided. Staff were attentive and polite, and water was always available. If the power went out, it came back within a minute. Inside, the rooms were spacious and clean, as was the toilet area, which had several accessories. The outside and reception entrance looked nice. The road leading to the hotel is unpaved.
