Conference Hotel and Suites

The bathroom was awful, with no plug in the sink and a shower door covered in mould that I didn't even want to touch. The toilet seat was peeling and disgusting, and there were grease marks on the headboard. The wardrobes had mould inside, the curtains were mouldy too, and the lampshades were dusty and filthy. The AC remote and light switches were nasty. There was a dead bug under my pillow, and when I asked the man to change the sheets, he was reluctant. The ottoman at the end of the bed had badly peeling leather. In both my room and my mother's room, the paint above the bed was peeling badly, the doors and cupboards were chipped, and the cabinets had missing handles. There was mould on the ceilings and exposed electrical wiring. All the rooms must smell like mould, since both of ours smelled the same. I felt physically sick and dehumanised, and couldn't sleep all night because I felt so disgusting. I wouldn't put my pet dog in this room. When you turn off the lights, one of the ceiling lights goes off, so basically I had to sleep with the light on. The TV had no channels, Netflix or YouTube, so there was no entertainment at all. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE if you have any sense.

The room was filthy, with lots of cockroaches, and there was no food. This place is rubbish, don't come if you love yourself.

Simi was a darling, and the staff were friendly throughout. My friends and I went swimming and made complete spectacles of ourselves. We also had dinner sometime past midnight. I had a fabulous stay at the Conference Hotel and wish I'd stayed longer. The service was excellent, and I hope to visit again soon.

The beds are much too small for two people, and the TV never worked, so I eventually switched it off. I also couldn't order a different breakfast, even though I would have paid for it. What if I didn't want what they had available? That was exactly my situation. I did like the quiet setting, the clean rooms and the nice bathrooms.
