The loud music from the garden kept me awake until after midnight, and my room had no window. I asked to move, but they wouldn’t agree, which was harrowing for me. The Wi-Fi was unusable, and most of the staff seemed stiff, unsmiling, uncooperative, and unfriendly. One person was always smiling, though they couldn’t resolve my complaint. Staff also wouldn’t let me speak with the manager about the issues they couldn’t fix, which left me feeling stuck and frustrated. The rigidity was annoying, and I was relieved when the workshop ended. I felt like an unwanted nuisance instead of a guest who should feel at home. Hospitality needs more than good looks, it also means service, rest, and respect. I expect someone will reply with a prepared promise to improve, and I hope they actually follow through. There were a few positives: constant electricity, drinks and water in the room, and a working elevator.

The restaurant is still a work in progress, though the menu is improving with more choices every day. The staff pampered me, and I had a good night's rest. You won't regret staying there.

I stayed at Kakanfo Inn for a week during a recent trip to Nigeria. There was uninterrupted power the whole time, and the hotel was easy to get to. Uber drivers had no trouble finding it. The room was spacious and clean, and they replaced my coffee and tea every day. I also used the well-equipped gym. Breakfast was complimentary, buffet-style, and had a variety of food and drinks. On arrival, the security guard and front desk staff greeted me with courteous smiles. The next morning a different desk staff member did the same, which made me think that kind of welcome is part of the work culture. I value that. I'd recommend Kakanfo Inn & Conference Centre,Ibadan to anyone coming home for the yuletide and looking online for a quiet setting, security, and reliable power.

The event space is nice to work with and gives decorators room to be creative. Kakanfo Inn is a hotel and event and conference centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, with spaces for weddings, meetings, conferences, celebrations, and other events. It has conference and event halls for social and corporate functions, a large banquet hall, meeting rooms in different sizes, hotel suites, parking, and other guest services.
