I paid ₦62,000 for two nights after the website made the hotel look promising. Once we got to the room, though, it was a huge letdown. It was filthy and neglected, with cobwebs, ants and other crawling insects, mould on the walls, and used condoms and snack nylons under the bed. The sheets and duvet were stained and unhygienic, and the whole place looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. We couldn't use the air conditioner. They said it would come on by 11pm, but it didn't. The light bulb was out too. After we complained, someone acted as if they were checking it and said an electrician was coming, but nobody showed up. We slept in total darkness. The water heater didn't work either, and at one point there was no water at all. I chose the hotel because I had an online work meeting. There was no WiFi, and with the bulb not working I couldn't attend the meeting. It caused serious trouble with my boss and was extremely frustrating. We paid for two nights but checked out after managing just one. It was a complete waste of money and a very disappointing stay. For ₦62,000, that was beyond unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It should be shut down, renovated, and properly managed before hosting guests again. Avoid it at all costs.

The hotel is quiet and easy to get to, so it may work if you need a cheap place for one night. Just keep your expectations low. I've stayed three times. My first room was one of the cheapest and was small, but fair enough for what I paid. On my second visit I had the Super Executive Double, which was roomy, though its fan made a lot of noise. The third time I paid 20k for a King Size room that was smaller than the Super Executive Double. Its bathroom was the worst part: the toilet was wedged between the shower and wall, so even as someone who isn't big, I couldn't sit comfortably. The shower "jacuzzi" was coming apart and felt unstable to stand in, and there was nowhere to hang a towel. That room didn't give me what I paid for. Power went out more than 10 times during the one night I was there. Don't count on the AC, since it depends on the electricity. I only got to enjoy it on my second stay.

Service could be better. If raising room prices is what it takes, the owner should consider it. There have been times when the power was out for hours, both in the afternoon and at night.

The customer service is terrible. They don't answer booking calls and aren't active on WhatsApp, so I don't know how people manage to book rooms. Please work on the front desk. The people there seem unprofessional and pull faces when customers come in. Really bad.

I couldn't sleep because of the noise from staff going up and down the stairs all night. They talked loudly, and when they came to take your room, they tried to force the door open instead of knocking. The customer service needs work too. Worst experience ever!
