I’m definitely not coming back. My first stay was supposed to be about 25 days, but poor service made me leave after three nights. Almost a year later I gave it another chance, and both the service and room conditions were worse. Some receptionists were polite and helpful, others weren’t. There was no manager on site to report problems to, and communication through WhatsApp with reception was ineffective. When we had to change rooms, we were left to move our belongings ourselves twice because porters weren’t available. One receptionist helped us once. The rooms were manageable, but the bathrooms were in terrible shape and smelled unpleasant. The AC was unreliable. Once, we got a dirty towel with visible blood stains, and blood stains also showed up on pillowcases more than once, even after we’d reported the problem. The kitchen staff were crazy and rude, as were most of the staff. They wouldn’t even give you a glass cup for a room, which only had two mugs.

We loved our four nights here. The room was very clean and comfortable, with great AC and fast WiFi. The staff were lovely and upgraded us when we arrived. Great value for money, 10/10. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely return.

The room was unbearably hot because the AC didn’t work. We stayed three days, and they only offered us another room on the third. It was a horrible experience, and I’m never coming back. About the response: My partner booked the room, which is why you have no record of my stay. I’m not deleting this review. Every word is true, and honestly, I could say more, but I won’t. Fix up.

A friend who lived nearby booked me a standard room in September, and the price was reasonable when paying in Naira. I had a great customer service experience, and the staff were professional. The food was great too. I’d use the hotel again and try one of the larger upgraded rooms.

It’s a small but decent hotel in the heart of New Bodija, a quiet spot if you want some time alone. Meal choices are very limited, though.
