Vacation Haus Hotel

The gated surroundings felt safe, and everyone helped make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I came with my family a few months ago after a friend suggested the place. The room was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous.

The staff smiled, and the security man was courteous, but the service itself was poor. I couldn't wait to leave, and I won't return. I hope management addresses these problems for future guests. We booked the Executive room during promo week. The fridge didn't work and had to be replaced after we'd checked in. There was only one cup, and when I asked for another for my companion, staff said the policy was one cup per room. That surprised me since the room was listed for two people. The kettle came with two tiny water bottles but no beverage, and nobody answered when we called the kitchen to order food. There were lots of fruit flies and mosquitoes. I even killed a mosquito with my bare hands. No bedside lights either. The bedside switch also controlled two overhead lights, so it was either bright lights that made sleep nearly impossible or complete darkness.

The room has plenty of space and is comfortable, but support and customer service are poor. Even if you stay more than one day, they won't provide extra toiletries.

From the welcome at reception right through checkout, the service was smooth and responsive. This is a great example of what hospitality should be.
