We had booked 12 rooms for our group and invited friends to the poolside bar after our party. The manager said we'd have to pay 70k to sit together, even after we explained that we were hotel guests. They lost about 1m in business that evening because we went to a nearby friend's hotel instead. I wish the manager had been willing to adjust the rules to accommodate us, especially given the caliber of people asking. Customer service needs work.

It's one of the more modern hotels around, and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was average. My room had no hot water, and I had to flush the toilet manually. Maintenance needs attention. Weddings were fair.

GROVENHILL has you covered when you need somewhere to spend the day, night, or even weeks. The exclusive lounge made the stay more comfortable and gave us a nice place to chill and have fun. It's a hotel with exclusive offers, which is why they call it PLUS.

Really, really bad customer service. They added charges for things we didn't even get. Why would anyone do that?

Neither of the two rooms I booked for my father and me had towels, toilet paper, soap, or lotion. We had to ask three times before staff brought them. I also had no hot water for my shower. My father's room had a leaking sink and toilet, and the shower water wouldn't drain. The complimentary breakfast was another letdown, with small portions and food that was poorly cooked. The rooms and service were lacking, making this one of the worst hotel stays I've had. It's apparently considered one of the best hotels in Ilesa, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you have family you can stay with in Ilesa, I'd choose that before considering this place.
