Shartell Hotels Jos

I especially liked how quiet and calm the location was, and the friendly staff were very helpful. The rooms at Shartell Hotel are lovely and cozy, a good place to relax after a long day. Wi-Fi and network coverage were a bit unreliable in some rooms, but that didn't spoil my stay. I'd recommend Shartell for a relaxing break.

The hotel itself was neat and the environment was pleasant. But the power kept cutting in and out, which disrupted my work meetings. Network coverage in the area is really poor, so I depended on the hotel's Wi-Fi, and that kept dropping whenever the power went off. Still, it's a very clean hotel.

I booked a two-night stay in Jos, and they insisted on full payment upfront. My flight was cancelled, so the trip fell through. When I asked the manager for a refund, he was disrespectful and wouldn't consider it. He showed no customer service at all.

We stayed nearly two weeks for a writing conference, eight guests for twelve days, which may have stretched the capacity of this fairly small hotel. The staff handled it well and were consistently friendly and helpful. The fittings and furnishings were up to standard, the food was very good, and nothing broke during our stay. It was a serene, comfortable place. The main thing missing is a gym, which fitness-minded guests would certainly notice. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Jos.
