Sultanate Suites GRA Kano

Just so you know, they do have a restaurant, though it seems to be having some service or operating problems at the moment. It may be worth checking whether that's been sorted out before counting on it for meals.

I stayed here in July 2023, and it was a bad experience. I had to switch rooms three times. The bathrooms were old and falling apart, and none of the rooms I tried had water. I called reception several times, but nothing was done. There were ants and roaches around the rooms, which cost ₦20,000. The kitchen service was poor, and there was no food available at the hotel. The facilities need attention.

I had power throughout my stay, thanks to the standby diesel generators. The setting is peaceful and affordable, the security staff are well-mannered, and the staff were clean, courteous, helpful, and professional. My bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. I loved the place and would definitely recommend it.

There's a peaceful setting and a range of room sizes and prices, and I think the hotel is good for what it costs. The bathing water pressure is low, though. They should put a foot mat by the toilet exit, since you step out with wet feet after bathing.
