I've stayed here three times now, and whenever I come from the east, the good vibe is still there. Doreen Hotel, Lagos gives me comfort, luxury, and peace of mind, with respectful privacy and security protocols to make sure guests don't leave without your say-so. The place has clearly improved its cleanliness, from 80 to 95%. My room was pristine, with fresh sheets and a flawless bathroom. Power was steady through every football match, and I watched all the Premier League action and nations cup on their crystal-clear TV, something hard to find at the other hotels I've used around here. The dishes were top-notch, the complimentary breakfast was a perfect start to the day, and drinks were chilled and super affordable. Most of the staff were neat, swift, smart, and beautiful, and treated everyone like family. A special shout-out to the professional front desk lady, the fair lady in her 30s 🤩. SHE'S A GEM. She recognized me nine months later, WOO. My one request for management: please remind the bar DJ that there are rooms behind the bar when people ask him to turn the music up too loud. Please give that receptionist a shout-out and maybe a treat, and keep doing good.

The bar was a nice place to hang out and enjoy the music, but my stay at Doreen Hotel was mediocre overall. My room needed work: the pillowcases smelled bad, and the sheets weren't changed even though I stayed more than one night. Room rates were about the same as other hotels in the area, but food prices seemed to change from day to day, with no set menu prices. Better cleanliness and more consistent pricing would make for a much better stay.

The music was so loud and annoying that I couldn't sleep. I left home to work and relax, but the noise was really distracting, especially with the rooms right across from the bar. I ended up leaving. This was my worst experience ever.

This hotel stinks, with a terrible stench all over the bathroom. I don't mind giving the staff money, but the dirt made this the most disgusting experience, the dirtiest hotel ever!

The place looks pleasant from the outside, but inside was the complete opposite. My room smelled off, and although that put me off at first, I decided to stay. Room service and the porter were slow to respond, and I had to call several times before anyone came. The bathroom and sheets were dirty, and the duvet was wet. I left and booked another hotel the next day. It was a terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Staff need customer service training, and the rooms need to be kept clean and fresh.
