The quiet, peaceful area and the hotel's atmosphere were a big plus. The view is splendid, the indoor pool is a moderate size, and the medium class room felt roomy. The food was great, especially the Afang soup, though I wouldn't recommend the Vegetable because it didn't taste very good. Staff were great and served with smiles. One even helped fix a flat tyre that happened overnight. There were a few problems in the room: only a red bulb, so there was no white light; the toilet seat was too close to the door, which wouldn't close; and one bath tap had been removed, though the shower tap worked perfectly. The complimentary breakfast seemed too small for the N2,000 price, and the wifi didn't work.

I enjoyed the kitchen's offerings, especially the lunch buffet, and the service was okay. But the conference room wasn't suitable for our workshop. They rented the adjoining room to another group, and their loud conversation interfered with our session, so I wouldn't choose this place for conferences. The POS wasn't working either, which was a bother, and there were lots of mosquitoes, perhaps because of the bathroom drainage.

It's a nice place, though not fantastic. For the facilities and structure, I felt it was good value for money.
