The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with working AC, a smart TV, and steady hot water when there’s power. There’s a big choice of food and drinks too, and the services were prompt. Staff were polite, always smiling, and ready to help. It’s a lovely, peaceful place tucked away in a unique location. The price is high, but I felt I got value for my money. You should give it a try.

We ended up needing somewhere else for the extra night after our week at Cocoon because they were fully booked. I’m glad we did. Staying here longer would have been uncomfortable, especially after the way we were spoken to. The AC wouldn’t cool the room and the heater never got hot. The manager, I assume, and another person did nothing about it. They hissed at my colleagues and me and insulted us in Yoruba, saying we were obviously poor girls from poor backgrounds and didn’t know what a heater temperature or AC cooling should be. I never expected to pay for a hotel for my team and then be insulted for raising a complaint. It’s affordable, but I wouldn’t recommend it to women.

The rooms and interior were great, spacious, and fantastic, and breakfast was included. Rates ranged from 18k to 25k. The outside looked more like a residential house, as many Lagos Mainland hotels do, and the place was somewhat hidden. Getting in at night was harder because Illupeju Streets have large gates and only one permitted entry point. Still, I had a great experience.

Quiet, with luxury rooms and mature staff. It felt like a home away from home to me. A place to visit and see for yourself.
