I slept so comfortably I hated getting up in the morning. The master bedroom is huge, and the mattress and pillows are lovely. There’s 24/7 power, too. It’s an easy place to reach, with everything you need in the apartment. Emem means peace, and that’s how I felt there. It’ll be my go-to whenever I’m in Lagos.

Arinola’s customer service was outstanding, and Chef Elisha made delicious dishes. The apartment is in a great spot in a quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed staying there and am looking forward to coming back.

The location was a big plus, close to supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. Arinola was professional, the staff were efficient, and Chef Elizah’s food was tasty. Security and service from management were also excellent, with requests handled quickly. The apartment itself needs work. The decor felt dated and the place was dark, we didn’t have enough hot water, and the internet was extremely poor. Cleanliness was middling as well. Adding up those mixed scores, I’d give EMEM apartments three stars. My stay was pleasant overall, but renovations would help.

The setting is distinctive and private, which works well for business or family stays. The apartments have the comforts needed to make guests feel welcome. The Emem State of Mind is their hospitality service, centered on Nigerian hospitality.

Chef Elisha’s meals were especially tasty. The rooms and living area were clean and nicely furnished, and the staff were excellent from check-in through room service. I’d recommend it.
