We had booked online, but were told to pay at reception. When my friends and I arrived late at night, we were told there were no rooms and that this wasn't the hotel, even though we were at the exact address listed on the website: No 5, M.K.O. Abiola Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja. I can't say whether the receptionist was lying about the location, but the whole thing was embarrassing. We were young women left to find somewhere else because the hotel didn't seem to have its information straight. The receptionist was angry too, and scolded the gateman for letting us in 🥲. Please do better. That was my first and last time there.

The staff are so warm and friendly, and they take care of things without any fuss. That's why I've come back to Primal Hotel, which used to be called The Nest. Rooms cost 16k to 20k. They're comfortable, with soft beds, a warm blanket, AC and WiFi. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, and it's a short distance from the Airport, which was the main reason I picked it. There are other hotels nearby too. If you're in the area and need a place, this is a great choice.

Staff were quick with service, and that saved this from a one-star rating. The hotel's small, tucked away off Toyin street, with a restaurant, bar and pool side. I stayed in an executive room that included breakfast, just three slices of bread and a cup of tea. It wasn't a surprise, but still disappointing. The decor feels below average and could use more finesse. It's an okay hotel, just don't expect anything wow.

The complimentary breakfast was welcome, though it was pretty poor: a few slices of bread and a cup of beverages. It's a small hotel at Abiola Crescent off Toyin street. The appeal is budget accommodation, though its rooms aren't the cheapest around. Staff were courteous and responsible, but the room facilities need upgrading.
