I came with my family and thought the hotel was lovely until I asked for towels. A staff member brought one and, with an attitude, said he'd bring another later. He never did. My dad called reception and was told the rule is one towel per room. We're a family of three, so we were expected to share one towel in a hotel? The Wi-Fi was terrible, and the light skin female receptionist and male staff had no customer service. I would have given the hotel five stars, then four after that rude treatment, but now it's a zero. Do better.

It’s tucked away in a quiet area, and the rooms are tidy and comfortable. They do feel a bit old, though, and not up to modern standards. The receptionist was rude, but the other staff were friendly.

The front desk staff were welcoming and pleasant, and I liked the design of the executive room. It’s right by the Allen Avenue junction in the heart of Ikeja, with attractive places to visit nearby.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was filthy and neglected, and looked like an abandoned building. Staff said it used to be Presken and is now Ivy Hotel, which is under renovation. They shouldn’t be renting rooms while it’s in that state. The bathroom and toilet were like a latrine.

The room facilities all worked properly, and the food was tasty and well cooked. The staff were also kind and accommodating, which made my stay at Ivy Hotel Awolowo really enjoyable. I’d love to come back the next time I’m in Lagos.
