The service was great, and the room was okay. I’d rather not say which room I stayed in, but its bathroom facilities seemed old and might need replacing. The hot water also turned warm pretty quickly while I was bathing.

The place is serene, the food is so nice, and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. I stayed about three days while shooting photographs for my new book, and also visited in November to finish The Wow Factor Staff book. Power outages were never an issue. There was a stretch when orders took a long time to arrive, and the front desk staff had to double as room service. I know the economy is difficult, but they could use one or two more people to help. The quality remained very high, and maintenance seemed to be a priority. After the improvements, great job. It shows they take feedback seriously.

The food was great, and the room cleaning was always well done. The staff were attentive and very helpful, and even the guards were a resource. It was a decent stay overall. My only issue was the location, which could have been much better.
