The AC worked well, which was a real plus in such hot weather. The room was cozy, with few calls or interruptions from staff, and everyone we encountered was respectful, well behaved, and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was especially generous, with enough for two guests in the room. I was pleased and would come back to rest. For me, it’s a 10/10.

The ambience was nice, and the restaurant was amazing, as were the people there. The rooms didn’t quite match what I expected for the price. Checkout turned into a very bad experience. An unexpected situation outside my control meant I had to pay for an extra half day, and I even missed my train home. They weren’t apologetic and didn’t seem to care, so it wasn’t a pleasant stay for me.

At Maitama Guest House, Sinclair sits in the heart of Capital City Abuja, surrounded by eateries, shops, and mosques. It’s well known in the North and feels like a friendly place. The atmosphere is peaceful, secure, and comfortable. The security staff around the perimeter were friendly and helpful 😀

The location is great, and the price feels fair. The rooms are cute rather than cramped, with the space used well, especially in the bathroom. I liked the restaurant's atmosphere and decorations too. I'd come back.
