I’m staying here now, and the smoking from the next room has left me coughing and breathing in substances I can’t identify. The occupant has apparently been smoking since yesterday, and they’re only telling me now that they spoke to her. It’s infuriating. I hate that some hotels act as if every guest is here to party. Some of us are here for health training and rest, and I’ve been forced to breathe in secondhand weed smoke. If you have asthma or simply don’t want to be around smoking, avoid this hotel and others that don’t care about your health.

The surroundings are lovely, but the service is really poor, especially from the kitchen. After a long wait, I got stale food and cold soup.

The service is top-notch, and after more than 10 years as a hotel, this place has kept its standards. Credit to the management team for maintaining them. It’s a lovely, premium spot in the neighbourhood.

It’s a clean, peaceful place. I couldn’t book because there were no rooms available, though I wish I’d been able to. I recommend it.
