Staff were rude and acted like they didn’t care, as if customer service didn’t matter because they don’t own the place. I was told there was no 13k lower-standard room, and they tried to get me to take the mid-standard one, which I was fine with. Later I found out two lower-standard rooms were available. When I asked about it, I was then told there were no rooms anymore. They need new staff and managers to improve things. The current workers do as they please, and it’s bad for business.

The old place smells bad, and maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service are all poor. Everything about it feels badly run. The earlier reviews are right, and it’s a shame nothing has changed. I’ll report it to the relevant authorities. This place really needs to be shut down. I wouldn’t recommend it or any of its locations.

The bar is in an embarrassing mess right now, and the female manager doesn’t seem to know her job. She said you can’t book a room unless you’re physically there, which makes me wonder why they offer online booking or take bookings through the official reception number. I called reception yesterday morning to reserve a room and paid as requested. I called again to confirm, and the receptionist confirmed it. But when I arrived, they said there was no room. I was furious. How can you book a room and then find there isn’t one when you get there? That’s rubbish. The current receptionists were very rude, including the short, dark-skinned one and the short, fair-skinned one. With that kind of attitude, they’re going to lose a lot of customers.

We were woken around 6 a.m. by staff arguing with a guest and shouting “ole.” At the end of it all, staff seemed to prefer payment to their personal accounts, saying the POS wasn’t working. Even though this was supposedly their best room, it was filthy. The bathroom was just as dirty, the hot water didn’t work, and using the shower caused leaks from the heater that flooded the rest of the toilet. The sheets hadn’t been changed after the previous guest. After new sheets were brought, we found weed debris underneath, plus Rizla papers and some unsmoked weed in another corner. I don’t know if it was left there to implicate a guest if law enforcement searched the hotel. The bin by the TV hadn’t been emptied, and the floor, TV, and bedside table were covered in dust. The room felt stuffy, and I left with a cough. The door could be opened by anyone without a key for a while. After a lot of back and forth, the master key fixed the lock, but we were afraid to sleep in case something happened. We wedged the door with the room chairs and put empty drink cans there too, in case anyone tried to open it. It was a terrible stay, and I’d tell anyone reading this to be careful. I doubt you’ll have a good experience unless they act on what’s been made public.

I only stayed one night because I was new to the area and needed somewhere to sleep. The bathroom was neat, the water ran well, and there was a safe in the room. The TV and AC were okay, but the AC only came on during the day when grid power was available. The bed and furniture were old, and much of it was broken. There was no bar or working restaurant or kitchen.
