The rooms have neat bedding, the receptionists are great and responsive, and the service staff respond quickly too. The gate staff, though, can be slow to notice people trying to get in, and the wait often causes traffic on TF Kubouye street. Food is okay, but could be better. The building is old, yet it’s one of the more decent affordable places to stay around the Oniru and Lekki Phase 1 area. It sits between the two, with roads on both sides, and has some parking. Before close of work in December 2025, a standard room started at 40k.

The building has lovely architecture, the surroundings are quiet, and the access roads are good. But the receptionist was rude, most of the air conditioners didn’t work, and getting water was an issue too.

We stayed for two nights, and I can’t recommend this hotel. There was no soap in the bathroom at all, and none of the room water heaters worked. We also got no complimentary water or drinks. The receptionist was rude, and although we paid for breakfast, none was provided. I asked for a refund and they refused. There was plenty more wrong.

The pool view is great 👍 I’m going to manage it, sure 😀 Join me soon at Newcastle Hotel 🏨😄

A nice place, but the area gets waterlogged. I wouldn’t pick it during the rainy season.
