Peerage Retreat and Resort

The rooms were clean, and considering the price and location, the place isn't bad overall. But there's a sewage smell that makes opening the windows impossible, and the food is on the expensive side. They could use more staff, though the front office lady is doing her best. Fumigation wouldn't be a bad idea.

I paid for an expensive room expecting somewhere cool to rest after my journey, but the room was old and unbearably hot. The AC wasn’t working when I checked in. The receptionist said they were using a small generator and the big one would come on in an hour or so. I could only open the window to get some air. I’m sorry, but I won’t be coming back.

The AC and TV worked, but I couldn’t wait to leave the room, and I got no value for the #10,000 I paid. The toilet smelled, the water was discolored, and the replacement room was just as bad. I was worried about catching an infection. Even after I asked to have the smelly sheets changed, the unpleasant odor stayed. The food was terrible and overpriced. One shift of staff was pleasant, especially the receptionist, while the other shift lacked customer service skills. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ve had much better service at cheaper hotels.

The staff were courteous and professional, but the price didn’t feel justified. The bathroom water ran slowly and looked brownish, and the fridge seemed rusty. The old AC switched itself off, perhaps on a timer, and there was no remote. The food was poor for what it cost. A few simple improvements could make a difference.
