Peninsula Hotel & Towers

The location is fantastic, and the rooms are nice apart from the bathroom. Customer service was terrible, though. The receptionists were disrespectful and didn't take their duties seriously. There's no electric kettle in the rooms unless you book a family suite, and breakfast isn't complimentary. The swimming pool wasn't clean or properly functional either.

At N40,000 a night, this place acts like a N5,000 hotel. The rooms were very dirty, and breakfast had only one option. There's no lunch or dinner menu, and the lights were so dim in both the restaurant and rooms. The bathroom light in my room didn't work at all.

It's easy to find the hotel from the main road, and the lobby and reception have fully functioning AC units. There are also plenty of private corners where you can wait to be attended to. My friends did have a problem with one receptionist, who was rude and talking on her phone instead of helping customers. The room came with complimentary breakfast, though they didn't offer or give us water with the food. I had a great time overall and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The whole building smelled musty, which already put me off my lunch. When I asked the bartender for a menu, he said they didn't have one. He also had no malt drink when I asked for one. I put my phone on charge and was deciding what to eat when he came over again, very rudely, and told me there was a 20minute waiting policy, as if he wanted me to leave. That bartender was very rude. I won't stay here or come back for lunch.
