The staff I met were polite and tried to help, and check-in went fairly smoothly. The property also has a calm feel, which I liked after a long day. Getting there is convenient when it isn’t raining. Still, my overall stay was brought down by several issues. The room was average, and its telephone wouldn’t connect when I tried calling. The towels were the bigger disappointment: worn, rough, and clearly due for replacement. At the price, basic items like these should feel fresh and well kept. They affect how clean and cared for the room seems, and these fell short. The food also felt far too expensive for the portions and quality. Why charge 6,000 for noodles and egg in iyanapaja, or 5,000 for just two pieces of beef peppersoup? I know hotel meals can cost more than outside, but these prices didn’t seem justified, and guests should get fair value. Management could make a real difference by improving maintenance and reconsidering restaurant prices. I’m offering this feedback constructively. There’s potential here, and I hope future guests find things improved.

We paid for the royal deluxe room, but should have chosen standard. There was no running water, even after a plumber came to look at it, and the room had no bin. The two of us were given one towel. The supervisor was rude. We arrived at 10am and left at 1pm because we couldn’t stand staying there. There was no refund or goodwill gesture. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are much better hotels nearby, so don’t stay here.

Easy to reach from Ipaja road, with a welcoming, cozy atmosphere, good music, a pool, lounge, lodging, security, and plenty of parking. It’s fairly expensive, but makes a good city hideout.

The rooms are okay, but the service wasn’t impressive. It’s right in front of a roundabout on a major road, so expect plenty of noise if you’re after a getaway.
