The view is the best part. It’s opposite or next to Eko hotel, so you can look out at somewhere that feels expensive without paying too much to stay here. I don’t have much else to say. Just don’t expect much. 🏃‍♀️

The rooms are spacious and nice, but the old bathrooms need refurbishing, and that doesn’t make up for missing basics. I paid 65k for one night and had to buy sachet water to shower because there was no clean water. Then a receptionist came to my room at night asking for 10k cash, saying I’d been given a more expensive room by mistake. I called his bluff; he raised his voice, but when I tried to leave, he backed down and said I could stay. I was so sick that night I didn’t leave, though otherwise I would have. Breakfast was the last straw: the complimentary meal had an insect in it. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Service from the staff was pretty poor. If you book through a site like booking.com, call the hotel to confirm the room you want is available and check the real price and other details.

The Amazonas restaurant and bar had decor I really liked, and the Posh Hotel and Suites is in a good spot in Victoria Island with a peaceful feel and a lovely view. But the room upkeep let the stay down. The card lock was on a door with worn frames, which made me uneasy at night. The restroom was dimly lit, had no hot water and had a dead roach in it. The TV decoder also wasn’t subscribed, so there was nothing to watch. I felt I’d wasted my money.
