Presken Hotel @ International Airport RD

I stayed for two nights and regret it. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with holes in the walls and ceilings, some stuffed with tissue paper. Rats ran around and could ruin your belongings. Basic bathroom items weren’t provided unless you begged and waited for hours. You had to pay for toothpaste and a toothbrush. The complimentary breakfast was a joke: pap, omelet, and yam, with no water. Food took ages and came wrong or inedible. The Nkwobi was sandy, half-cold peppered pomo. Apart from the front desk, staff were rude and hostile, especially in the kitchen and bar, and looked visibly unhappy. Never again.

The staff and food made my stay very pleasant. Supervisor Ifeoma went out of her way to make my son and me feel at home. The chef also deserves recognition, and a raise! The food was amazing, and they met my specific dietary needs perfectly. I came in from London in the evening and needed somewhere close to the airport. This hotel was convenient, with a great location and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff were kind and hospitable and made sure I was comfortable. The building could use more than its excellent service to feel complete. It needs general renovations, mosquito nets on the room windows, heaters in the bathrooms, and a modern update to the reception and waiting area. Overall hygiene could improve too.

It’s easy to get to the airport from here, and the staff are helpful. The rooms feel old, though, and a few areas could use improvement.

Really nice place, you’ll love it, but make sure you bring plenty of money! 🤝 💚 😍 💰 😁😁
