Suite Las Caracas

This is my last time here. I’ve stayed at the hotel over two years, including before the renovation, and every experience has been terrible. The bathroom taps and toilet are awful, and the water doesn’t run, especially in one room at the far end of the top floor. There’s no elevator, so I had to carry my bags to the door of the room on the fourth floor before someone offered to help me in. Power gets cut in the middle of the night while you’re asleep, and you have to beg them to turn it back on. Zero stars.

My friend booked a lounge for us and invited his girlfriend. We just spent the day eating and sleeping.

We had an awesome time at the swimming pool. The instructor is good with children, so take your kids there to learn to swim.

The hotel is nice, but the Wi-Fi isn’t really for guests. There’s also a lot of chemicals in the pool, and swimming there often could cause partial blindness.
