Sweet Season Luxury Suites

We stayed for two days in February 2024, and I regret the whole visit. The place is inside a cozy estate, but it’s a terrible place to stay. There was no dependable power, with the generator repeatedly switched off and the rooms left hot. Staff were arrogant, and getting hot water meant repeatedly begging for boiled water because the heaters didn’t work. The water was dirty and colored, showers were rusty and some didn’t work, and the towels were overused. The ACs didn’t cool until I nudged them, and I had to ask for a fan to help. Both rooms I used had mosquito blood marks on the inside walls and lots of mosquitoes flying around. A staff member stole my 16 watt charger head and denied it, as did everyone else. Don’t stay here.

I couldn’t even take a bath because the water was red and dirty, and the toilet, room, duvet, and bedsheet were dirty too. I had to tip the housekeeper to replace the bedding. At reception, the girl I paid refused to give me a receipt, saying the hotel doesn’t issue them. I paid 15,000 for that disgusting room. It’s in a good location and charges that much, so I didn’t expect this. I should have checked the room before paying and would have walked away. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who cares about their health or wants value for money.

I checked out at least five rooms, and each was worse than the one before it. The bathrooms were horrible, the walls had mold, and I saw it right beside the bed in one room. This is an unhealthy, disgusting place, and I don’t know how it can legally keep operating in Nigeria while endangering people’s health. It needs to close or be fully renovated. I hope someone reports it to the right authority. Please don’t go there.
