They wouldn’t serve the “complimentary” breakfast in the morning, and said there was nothing they could do about it. The electricity had also been cut for four hours overnight. Customer service was very poor. They don’t even give you a booking receipt unless you ask.

The room wasn’t clean in the bathroom, and there were insects around. When I checked in, the bedding was damp, and I had to ask before they brought towels and toiletries. I called for water and got no response, so I went out and found the staff member on the phone. When I asked again, she rudely said she’d already asked her colleague. The staff were rude and unprofessional.

The kitchen was the worst part of the apartment. The pots were dirty, there was no cutlery, the cooker didn’t work, and ants were everywhere. We kept ordering food even though we’d booked a room with a living room and kitchen. They eventually gave us a camping gas stove, but we used it only once. For the first two days, the fridge didn’t work either. The showers had weak water pressure. On day four we told the receptionist we weren’t happy, and she replied, “as how? I don’t understand.” The manager, Mr France or Francis, was really nice, but the staff were another story. Both the older receptionist and the younger one with glasses were very rude and seemed to have no customer service training. The one with glasses was worse. We paid 60 per night for a week. On the seventh day, the receptionist kept knocking, having forgotten we were checking out the next day. Checkout is listed as noon, but the power was already off before 7am. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy.

The rooms cost a lot for the poor service you get. Management doesn’t seem to be doing much about it, and the service overall was really poor. I honestly wouldn’t recommend staying here.
